English 1010
Reflection
Throughout the years that have been spent in school, many opportunities have arose in which the proper technique of writing has been taught to me. It has always been quite confusing because every year a different teacher would say to do things differently. This made it very difficult to know which process to use when writing. Because of this, writing had always been one of the subjects least looked forward to until between eighth and tenth grade. My teachers during those years had done an excellent job being consistent on how an essay should be written. English 1010 has continued on the streak; although the class was not difficult compared to many other courses, the amount of work taught the right things which made it all make sense.
The structure of the class and work provided by the instructor took all of us through a building block system of learning. We started out with very simple assignments in which all the basics were given as guidelines. Overtime we were able to put all the different things together to create our final proposal paper. This paper was the most beneficial to ome because if helped put everything together. I am the kind of kid who can understand everything on its own but until I have the opportunity to put it together, I remain slightly confused. Being given the topic of plastic was a little hard because my first thought were, "boring." However, it turned out to be very educational and inspirational in actions I as an individual can take to make a difference. This class has significantly helped me with easy and well written papers.
